Dates of Employment: July 1 – September 2, 2023
Age: 15-30 years of age
Hours: Tuesday – Saturday; 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Hourly Wage: $14.50 per hour
Location: Watrous, Saskatchewan
Applicants must be comfortable working with the public, available to work weekends, and have organizational and computer skills.
Duties include:
- Dealing with visitor related interactions within the facility in person as well as over the phone and electronically.
- Providing tours of the museum to customers.
- Front-line customer service to museum patrons and guidance and training to museum volunteers.
- Creating and organizing program activities.
- Assisting with the digitization of object records of the museum’s collections. This involves scanning and saving al physical records so they can be retained digitally.
- Updating and keeping accurate records as requested.
- Assisting with exhibition layout plans and setting up and taking down of exhibits.
- Assisting the administrator in general office duties.
- Providing light duties in museum such as vacuuming, dusting of the exhibit area.
Candidates should have interest and/or experience in these areas, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to health and safety. Communication skills and the ability to work independently are also required. Training is provided.

- A Canadian citizen or permanent resident or with refugee status in Canada;
• Legally entitled to work in Canada;
• Between 15 and 30 years of age;
• Willing to commit to the full duration of the job.
